Robert G. Gould, 83, of Phoenix passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
His first passion in life was his family especially, his loving wife of 62 years. His second was cutting hair at his barber shop; a trade that he learned during his time in the US Navy. He was also known for his prowess at Pinochle, cooking his famous Spaghetti & Meatballs and Scalloped Potatoes, and always catching the biggest fish (the one that "got away")!!
Survivors include three children; Robin (Carlos) Clothier, Wendy Krause (Tim O'Connor) and Bob Gould (Elizabeth Perrotta). Thirteen grandchildren; Amy Hopp, Carl "CR" Clothier (Gretchen McCann), Lloyd (Jess) Wescott III, Pamela (Paul) Baran, Nicholas and Lacey O'Connor, Norm Gleason, Cheryl Mero, Donald (Anabel) Gleason, Linda Lila Gould, Cassandra Terpening, Courtney and Christopher Dudzinski. Sixteen great-grandchildren; Amber, Wayne and Taylor Milks, Zoie and Zadyn Tracy, Carl Clothier Jr, Valerie and Makala Mero, Victoria, Lisa, Anthony, Carl Gleason, Keenen and Hayden Eischen, Mariusz and Maximus Baran. Three great-great grandchildren: Wesleigh Treasure, Dani Milks and Olivia Orton. He is also survived by a sister, Virginia Rury and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years; Marion Gould, father; George Gould, mother; Lena Sweeting-Gould, and 10 brothers and sisters.
Grave side service will be held at Noon on Saturday September 3, 2016 at Chase Cemetery, Route 48, Phoenix, NY. Immediately following there will be a celebration of his life at Lysander VFD, 664 Lamson Road, Baldwinsville, NY.
