Robert Mcfarlin Fox

Robert McFarlin Fox, 93, of Cicero, passed away October 21, 2023. Robert was born in Elmira, New York on November 26, 1929 to Robert and Eleanor Fox. He proudly served in the United States Air Force in Germany and North Africa from 1950-1954. Robert retired from Boston Buffalo, Syracuse where he was employed as a Dispatcher for many years. In his early years he enjoyed hunting. Robert also took great pride in caring for his lawn, fishing and spending quality time with his grandchildren .

He was preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen; parents, Robert C. and Eleanor M. Fox; brother, James Fox; and mother and father in laws, Maurice and Edna Oberdorf.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Jean Fox; two daughters, Susan (Carl Rotunda) Fox and Karen Tomski; son, Patrick (Kimberly) Fox; eight Grandchildren; ten Great-Grandchildren; and his caregiver who has become family, Kara Lawn.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2-5PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 5PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY 13208.
