Robert Ferguson passed away at his home on February 10th, 2022. He was born, in 1940 to Eleanor and Walter Ferguson, in Philadelphia, PA. At age 19 he enlisted in the Military. He served 26 years, had combat duty and acquired the rank of Master Sergeant along with serving time in Vietnam.
He had a son in Japan who lived with his mother who refused to come to the United States. Robert married Po Chen Lee, May 22, 1972 in Thailand and they had four children: Venus, Barbara (predeceased), William and John. Venus is the mother of two grown daughters Samantha and Victoria. Barbara (predeceased) loved animals. William married Josie and they have four sons: Warren, John, Jacob, and Caleb. John married Autumn and they have three daughters: Julieanna, Molly, and Allison. Robert became a widower in 2002 and he met and married his present wife Anne. Robert and Anne now retired liked people and took the time to listen to them. Robert liked to joke around, improve his property, and share his knowledge of cars, trucks, RV's, magazines, and stories of his time in the service while deployed. Robert was a good man who prayed. Robert loved his family and his dogs.
A memorial service will be held on July 14th, 2022 at 11 am at the Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery. A luncheon will follow. Family & friends are invited and directions will be given out that day.
