Robert E. Connor, 78, of Baldwinsville went home to be with the Lord on Friday at Upstate Hospital. Bob retired from Bristol Labs in 1972, following retirement he worked as a truck driver for Gypsum Express. He was a member of Buckley Road Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, the former Flora "Betty" Frank; three brothers, Michael of Wichita, KS, Thomas of Seneca Falls and Dennis Connor of Syracuse; a sister, Kate Connor of Baldwinsville and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Sunday, April 3 at 7 pm at Buckley Road Baptist Church and a Memorial Mass will be Saturday, April 9 at 10 am at St. Augustine Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
