Robert Donnelly

Robert "Bob" John Donnelly, 63, of Central Square, passed away unexpectedly January 1, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Bob was born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 12, 1960, to the late Robert and Luzie Donnelly.

After graduating from Cicero High School, Bob went on to have a career in the HVAC industry, which included owning his own business.

Bob was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Giants and Yankees. He liked golfing, hunting, and riding his four-wheeler. Bob was very competitive in darts, horseshoes, and foosball. He liked to spend time in his barn listening to classic country and classic rock. He was an all-around handyman who could fix just about everything. Bob enjoyed all things chocolate, especially chocolate chip cookies.

Bob was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sarah (Sheahan) Donnelly, son, Johnathan Donnelly, daughter, Allisyn (Benjamin) Fox, grandchildren, Henry and Ellie Fox. Siblings, Grace (Marty) Shakalinski, Richard (Tammy) Donnelly, and Michael Donnelly. Many nieces and nephews and several lifelong friends.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse, followed immediately by a sharing of memories.
