Robert E. Devereaux, 84, of North Syracuse passed away Tuesday. A life resident of the Syracuse area, Robert was employed with P&C Warehouse for many years. An Army Veteran, he was a member of the 101st Airborne Air Troopers.
Surviving are his wife Betty (Chipperfield), one son; Robert (Beatriz) Devereaux; a daughter; Linda A. Bell, a sister; Arlene Davis, grandchildren; Brian Devereaux, Melissa Martin and Michele Pufky and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at St. Margaret's Church, Route 11, Mattydale. Entombment will take place in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions in Robert's Name may be made to St. Margaret's Church.
