Robert Carl DeCook, 75, of Syracuse, passed away December 18, 2017.
Robert was born in Lyons, New York on October 22, 1942 to Raymond and Rose Marie DeCook.
Robert served his country in the U.S. Army, and worked for Syracuse Movers. He was a member of the local Teamsters Union 317 for 45 years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, word-search puzzles, and spending time with his wife Anna Marie, whom he affectionally called his sweetheart, and his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; a step-son, Donald Hastings, Jr.; and a grandson Donald Hastings III.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Anna DeCook; three sons, Daniel (Jenna) DeCook, Joseph (Norma) DeCook, and Robert (Donna) DeCook; a daughter, Laurie DeCook; step-daughter, Pamela Hastings; two brothers, Raymond and William DeCook; a sister, Betty Jean Page; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, and nephews.
