Robert D. Gleason, Jr., 49, of Pennellville, loving son of Robert & Hazel Gleason, succumbed to cancer at St. Joseph's Hospital with his brother Thomas, his parents and his long time love & companion, Dawn Shaw, at his side. Bob lived in and around Central New York, all of his life.
He was a longtime employee of IBEW/NECA Local 43 for many years and past vice president of the Abate Chapter of Oswego County. He was an avid snowmobiler logging 300 miles on any given weekend with his brother and friends. He also loved touring the states on one of his Harley's with longtime love & companion, Dawn Shaw.
One of their tours resulted in them bringing home two little adoptees, "The Detroit Boys ", from Michigan.
As per Bob's wishes, he will be cremated with no calling hours or services.
Donations may be made to the American Motorcycle Association.
