Robert C. Chipperfield, 80, of Camden, passed away on Thursday March 10th at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving daughter, Carie. Robert was born in East Syracuse on May 1, 1941 son of the late Hubert DeLyser and Martha Vercrouse. Robert served in the US Navy and was proud of his ship, the USS Intrepid. He retired from General Motors in 1993. He enjoyed attending classic car shows and was a boxing fan, carpentry and remodeling homes. Most of all he loved his daughter. Always supporting her in anything she did.
He is survived by his daughter, Carie Chipperfield.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 18th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Camden in the Spring.
