Robert L. Bunis

Robert L. Bunis, 86, of Syracuse, passed away September 23, 2022. Robert was the Owner and operator of Bob's Bikes. He was also involved in the family's business, The Book Warehouse. He was a big fan of classic movies, European cars and was a collector of antique watches. He was a classic guy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rose; and step-son Kyle.

He is survived by his spouse of 61 years, Mary Rita Bunis; children, Scott, Lois, Mark, Lisa, and Tracy (Ernie); grandchildren, Eric, Jonathan, Brittany, Marshal, and Mary; great-granchildren, Payton and Cayden; sisters, Diana (David) and Louise; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 5-7 PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center, 813 Fay Road Syracuse, NY 13219. The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses at St. Joseph's on 4-2 for their tremendous care, especially Jennifer.
