Robert C. Adams Sr. known affectionately as "Bubba", was born on August 16, 1936, and peacefully passed away at 87, on April 12, 2024.
He leaves behind a legacy filled with love, service, and an enterprising spirit. Robert proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, dedicating eight years of his life to the noble cause. His commitment and bravery during his service was a testament to his character, beyond his military service.
Robert was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around him and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His love and guidance will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Robert was the founder of Ma and Pa's Kettle Corn, a testament to his enterprising spirit. His hard work and passion served as an inspiration to many.
Robert was the son of William and Nellie (Nolan) Adams and was one of eleven siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Nell Bell (James C. Bell IV) and Virginia Kurtz, (Scott Kurtz), his son, Robert C. Adams Jr. (Holly), and a sister Patricia (Adams) Tayntor as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Anna Marie (Rossi) Adams.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held in honor of his memory, where family and friends will gather to pay tribute to a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 17th from 4 to 6 pm at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, located at 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
