Rita June Nolan, 89, of Pennellville, passed away Wednesday at Francis House. Rita is pre-deceased by her husband, James Francis Nolan and brothers, Kenneth and Clinton Wood.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria Gilfilian of Preble, Jean Hamilton of Pennellville and Dolores Bohne of Mattydale; sister, Vivian VanSlyke of Moravia; fourteen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; twenty six great great grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, 11AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at the Onon. Co. Veteran's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to either Francis House or Hospice of CNY.
