Rita S. Edmunds, 90, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born April 25, 1915 in New York City. She moved to Wallkill, NY in 1930 and married Wilson Edmunds in April, 1934. He predeceased her in 1971. While living in Wallkill, she was a member of the New Hurley Reformed Church, worked for the Wallkill Central School District and was a member of the New York State Grange. She is a member of the Liverpool Methodist Church.
Survived by her children; Jim and Sharon Sharpe, Wilson and Barbara Edmunds and Chester Edmunds. Grandchildren; Charles, Adam and Jamie Sharpe Mark, Gregory and Wayne Edmunds, and Joe Bernabei, five great grand children and one great great grandchild.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 28th at 2 PM in the Liverpool Methodist Church on 604 Oswego St. Liverpool, NY.
