Rickey A. Floyd, 56, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born on October 10, 1958 son of the late Melvin and Eddie Mae Floyd. He served in the US Army and was an avid Steelers Fan. Rickey was a devoted family man.
Rickey was predeceased by his brother, Artis.
Surviving are his wife Robin of 20 years, 2 sons; Rickey, Jr., Logan, daughter, London, sisters; Rosa Houston, Judy Hanslip (Irvin), Betty McKinney (Jimmy), Diane Floyd, Marva Anderson (Terrence), Ella Reese, Donna Floyd, Annette Jones (Cedric), Melva Strickland, brothers; Christopher (Sonya), & David Floyd, mother-in-law, Kathy Miller, 2 sisters-in-law; Renee Miller (Jeff), Richelle Lundy (Shaun), along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 3-5pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
