Richard A. Zielinski, 69, of Syracuse passed away Monday. Born in Syracuse, Richard was a General Manager in the Optical Industry for many years. An avid hunter, he also enjoyed scuba diving and was Past President of the New York State Divers Association. He is predeceased by his wife Patricia Stevens (1999).
He is survived by his son; Dennis (companion – Andrea Martuscello) Zielinski, daughter; Kimberly (companion – Peter Wilder) Bland, sister; Pamela Macartney, his grandchildren, Jessica and Liam and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
