December 29, 1927 — March 11, 2017
Richard Wiley, 89, of Marathon passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Ann.
He is survived by his sisters, Joanne, Carol, Donna, brothers Noel and Jim, his son Frank and his wife Jill, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a lifelong hard working mason, his hobbies included spending time on the family farm. He loved golf and playing cards with his friends.
Per his request, there will be no calling hours, a memorial will be held in May at the Legion in Marathon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the American Legion Post 617.
