Richard D. Whitmore

Richard "Dick" Whitmore 74, of Liverpool was reunited with his beloved wife, Tina, of 33 years after brief illness.

Dick was born April 18, 1947 to DeEtta Heh and Francis Whitmore in Gouverneur.

Dick was a loving father who is survived by his three children; son, Scott and daughter, Ashlie Bucci (Joe); proud grandfather of Cosimo, Giuseppe and Enzo.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife and brother, Ronnie.

Dick retired from Carrier after 35 years. In 2006 he received the gift of life, a heart transplant, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was able to continue to enjoy DJ'ing, gardening, listening to oldies and spending time with his dear family and friends. Dick was a "talker" and enjoyed sharing stories and entertaining those around him.

He will be dearly missed.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 29th 12-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 2pm.
