Richard W. "Webby" Krahl, 59, of Bridgeport died unexpectedly on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Frank and Verna March Krahl. He retired from Carrier Corp. in 2010 following 16 years of service as a parts expeditor and previously worked at New Process Gear and General Motors. "Webby" was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed visiting with friends at the Town Tavern and Home Base.
Surviving are his daughter, Carene (Mike) Lozito of Baldwinsville; a brother, Kurt (Ann Marie) Krahl of Gloucster, VA.; three sisters, Linda Roberts and Pati Clark both of Canastota and Karen (Carl) Aley of Bridgeport; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 5:00 pm Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be from 2-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
