Richard W. Jones, 81, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday. He served with the Marines in San Diego, CA. Richard retired from General Motors with 28 years of service and from Moyers Corners Vol. Fire Department, Station 2 with 15 years of service.
He is predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda Zopfi in 2005.
He is survived by a son, Randy, a daughters, Pamela (John) VanderBerg, Donna Harter; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; a nephew Jaime Jones and several other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 1-3PM and 5-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
