Richard F. (Dick) Straub

Richard, 72, son of the late Edward H. and Leona K. Bernet, died unexpectedly at his home in Clay, NY. Richard is survived by his brother Edward R. of Minoa and sisters Theresa Hylton (Darrell - deceased) of SC, Deborah Carroll (Ronald - deceased) of TX and Linda (James) Buddie of Cato, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Richard attended St. Margaret's School in Mattydale and graduated from North Syracuse High. Richard resided in Clay his entire adult life. He was employed by Twin Trees Restaurant of N. Syracuse and The Clam Bar also of N. Syracuse.
Richard was known for his quick wit, his gift of gab and the life of the party. We all loved Richard as we know he loved us. He will be missed.
