Richard Saliba, 85, of Cicero, passed away Tues. at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Amsterdam, NY to the late Samuel and Genevieve Saliba.
Richard owned Syracuse Carpet Service for over 20 years and was well-known all over the country for excellent service. In 1968, he opened Dick Saliba's Pro Shop, also very well-known for excellent service, with his son Clifford. In 2005, Dick was inducted into the Syracuse Bowling Assn. Hall of Fame.

Richard was an avid bowler, golfer and SU sports fan. He doted on his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Anne Saliba; his children, Gary (Linda) Saliba, Clifford (Debbie) Saliba, Richard Jr. (Donna) Saliba, and Cynthia (Michael) Cooper; his grandchildren, Jenelle, Tasha and Lauren Saliba, Brett (Hailee) and Corey (Brandy) Cooper and MacKenzie Thompson; his great-grandchildren, Macie Rae, Owen Michael and Payton Renee; his brother, Rev. Gerald (Diana) Saliba; his aunt, Francis Allen and several nieces, nephews, and multiple bowling buddies.

Visitation will be 4-7PM Tues. at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral service to follow at 7pm.
