Richard R.Tschudi, 57, of Clay died Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Richard graduated from Liverpool High School. He is Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and then worked for GE overseas. He then became a graduate of SUNY Potsdam. Richard then worked for Carrier Corp., Crouse Hinds for 16 yrs., Health Care Data Systems, Penn Traffic and most recently, Bank of New York. He was an active tennis player, supporter of the Cicero-North Syracuse Field Band. He is predeceased by his mother, Virginia,1991 and his father Robert, 2004
He is survived by his wife, Vicky, one son; Paul of Clay, two daughters; Marilyn of North Syracuse and Diane of Clay, one sister; Laurie Ann Tschudi of Rochester, two brothers; Mark (Carlota) Tschudi of Denver, CO and Rob Sumiko of Los Angeles, CA Services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., PO BOX 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or the CNS Field Band, C/O Kelley Cullen 6194 Carriage Shop Road Cicero, NY 13039
