Richard T. Pelkey, 73, of Port Orange, Florida and formerly of Cicero passed away Thursday in Florida. Born in Oswego, NY Richard owned and operated Cicero Glass for 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Dorothy (Sova) Pelkey; sons, Robert Pelkey, Robert McNeil, Ronald McNeil and Larry Pelkey, daughters, Theresa Pelkey, Teresa Wioncek and Renee Kozma, a brother, Tim Pelkey, 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be private. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, from 3-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
Contributions in Richard's name may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
