Richard Obit, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Letizia and Peter Obit. Richard was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Crouse-Hinds after over 40 years of service.
He is survived by his children, Christine (Randy) Wilsey, Richard J. Obit, Stephen Obit and Nathan Obit; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with military honors at 7pm.
