Richard John Myer, 75, of Lakeland passed away peacefully at home on December 20th, 2021.
Surviving are his loving wife, Patricia of 53 years; son, Matthew Myer (Julie); daughters, Michele Bartholomew (Brett) and Kristin Myer, and grandchildren Alyssa, Lauren, Sophia, RJ, and Olivia.
Richard was a Respiratory Therapy Technician at the VA Hospital for over 30 years. In addition, Richard kept busy with many hobbies. He was an avid gardener, bird watcher, hunter, and NYS Fair enthusiast.
In his later years he enjoyed puzzle building and spending time with family and friends by the backyard firepit.
The family will be having a private service and requests any donations to be made to Hospice of Central New York at www.hospicecny.org.
