Richard L. Kilburn

April 15, 1946 — October 6, 2024

Richard L. Kilburn, 78 of North Syracuse, NY, passed away on October 6, 2024. He was born in North Syracuse, NY on April 15, 1946 to the late George Kilburn and V. Geraldine Baker. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War Era. He loved to bowl, golf and watching the Buffalo Bills. He also loved spending time with his loving family.

He retired after 20 plus years, first with Niagara Mohawk, then Constellation Nuclear at Nine Mile in Oswego. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cynthia; children, Amanda Kilburn and Geoffrey Kilburn; granddaughter, Cori-Lynn Kilburn-Benoit; sisters, Judy Leiber (Paul) Butler and Ruth Crouch of Ohio; brother, James Crouch and many nieces, nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, William, Robert and George. 

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212 on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 4-6pm. Funeral Services will follow at 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may made to Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
