Richard A. Kuehnle, 75, of Cicero, passed away at home. He was the son of Arthur and Julia Kuehnle. Richard was a Korean War Veteran serving 4 years in the Navy. He worked 21 years for Univac and retired after 12 years from Inficon. He was a member of the ARBA and he was a well known and respected rabbit judge for 50 years. He mentored many youth of 4-H. He was a past Director of the Herkimer County Fair. He was a member of the South Shore Assn.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandra Kuehnle; four sons, Richard, David (Linda), William (AnnMarie) Karl (Chris) Kuehnle; a stepson, Jon (Janel) Magistro; two daughters, Karen (William) Carrig, Kristine Kuehnle; three step daughters, Kathleen Conboy, Elizabeth (Patrick) Chetney, Anne Marie (James) Phillips; 19 grandchildren and one great grandson; three sisters, Josephine Donnelly, Patricia Ralbovsky, Marlene Taylor; and Many Nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, 7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling Hours will be Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home, before services. Burial will take place Thursday 12 noon at the Salisbury Rural Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
