Richard K. LaShomb, 60, of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday at home with family at his side. He was a native of Massena, NY. He dedicated 36 years of his life to the Department of Defense. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Patriot Guard Riders. Richard is predeceased by two sisters, Phyllis and Barbara.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, RoseMarie (Virag); children, Lisandra (Anthony) D'Agostino; Jason and Jonathan; grandson, Cologero; brother, Lester LaShomb; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ALS Assn. or Wounded Warrior Project.
