Richard L. Jones, 85, of Phoenix, passed away May 25, 2021.
Richard was born in Gouverneur, New York on August 10, 1935 to the late Lester and Dorothy Jones. Richard worked for many years as a truck driver for Coca Cola. He loved animals and was an avid woodworker. He enjoyed building things like birdhouses, benches, and various types of furniture. When he wasn't trucking he loved riding his ATV and spending time with his family.
Richard was predeceased by his Wife,Doris Jones and Grandson, Jamie Jones.
He is survived by his Sons, Wayne (Meichel) Jones; and Ronald (Terry) Jones; Daughter, Cathy (Allen) Crutchley; Grandchildren, Scotty (Christine) Jones, Justina (Anthony) Petralia, Wayne (Erin) Jones Jr., Josh (Dawn) Jones, Jesse Jones, Tristen Crutchley and Ryan Crutchley. Several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place Friday, 11am, at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
