Richard J. Dickson, 81, of Clay passed away at home with family by his side.
He was born on July 25, 1932 in Utica and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed as an automotive salesman for many years in the Syracuse area and was last employed at Green Thumb, which he took great pride in. Richard enjoyed his Vegas Trips and was a weekly bingo player.
Surviving is his wife Barbara of 61 years, his children: John (Joy), Debra (Donovan) Furlong & Richard, Jr., 5 grandchildren: John, Michael, Jennifer, Jillian, Alicia, 8 great grandchiuldren, Hannah, Gavin, Alexandra, Joey, Kinsley, Natalia, Gabriel & Conor.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday 11am at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
