Richard J. "Rich" Acchione, 71, formerly of Brewerton, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6th. Rich was residing in Englewood, Florida for the past 14 years. He graduated from Central High School and Auburn Community College. Rich was an ambitious and hardworking business owner in Brewerton, NY for over 35 years. Those that were lucky enough to know him will remember his witty sense of humor and his generous, kind-spirited nature. Family and friends were very special to him. Times spent together included sharing stories and endless laughter while enjoying a cold beer and a good cigar.

Rich was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Josephine Acchione and a brother, Albert Acchione.

Rich is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry (Craig) Rowland and Brenda (Ken) Bass; 5 grandchildren, Anthony, Candice, Corissa, Kenneth and Julie; 1 great grandchild, Adrianna and several other relatives.

Calling hours will be held on Monday 10AM-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 12PM with entombment to follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, .
