Richard Harold Hirsch

Richard Harold Hirsch, 75, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2022 at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Richard was born on September 9, 1946 to Raymond and Monica Hirsch. He graduated from North Syracuse High School, went to work for the Town of Cicero, then worked for New Process Gear for 30+ years, before retiring.
Richard loved to do his gardening, hunting, fishing, and barbequing. He made the best bbq chicken. Everyone loved it. He enjoyed making Christmas wreaths at holiday time and making maple syrup.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Robert Hirsch. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Gale; four children, Christine Henning (Gary), Corinne Cierek (Brian), Carrie Weeks (Peter), and Robert Hirsch (Joy); five grandchildren, Corey Henning, Morgan Cierek, Logan Hirsch, Jenna Hirsch, and Beckett Weeks; and three nephews, Shaun Gale, Brandon Gale and Brian Gale.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life on May 7, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Maplewood Bar & Grill/Holiday Inn & Suites, 400 7th N. St., Liverpool, NY 13090.
Richard was a great man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
