Richard Paul Hapanowich

Richard Paul Hapanowich, 36, of Brewerton, passed away November 1, 2021.

Richard was born in Syracuse, New York on February 16, 1985 to Richard and Michele Hapanowich. He graduated from CNS High School and then worked in shipping and receiving at Lockheed Martin in Liverpool for 13 years. He was an avid country music and classic rock fan. He loved to travel especially to concerts nationwide with Nashville being his favorite destination. He loved his trucks and convertibles. Rick enjoyed visiting various local restaurants and was a great source of knowledge in regards to local cuisine. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and created several ways to make money and keep himself entertained. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring ICU staff at Crouse Hospital for their efforts.

Rick was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Florence and Paul Hapanowich; and maternal grandparents, Ethel and Frank Brunner.

He is survived by his parents Richard and Michele; brother, Daniel Hapanowich; four aunts, Rose Hapanowich, Jeanniene (Jim) Baldwin, Carol (Eric) Silverman, and Nancy (Robert) Bennett; and many cousins.

Calling hours are Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am. Interment at North Syracuse Cemetery.
