Richard Hahn

Richard John Hahn, born September 25, 1932, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, November 23, 2023. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carolyn Ruth Wentworth Hahn; his children, John and Carol Hahn, Susan and Arthur Ives, Sally Martinchek and Jeff and Jackie Hahn; his brother, Lawrence and Gloria Hahn; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Richard started his own business, Hahn's Septic Tank Service in 1972.
He loved spending time with his family, especially Friday night happy hour and time at his camp in Piseco, hunting and fishing with his friends.
Calling hours are Wednesday, November 29, from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
