Richard H. Zyjewski, 85, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Friday. He was a WWII Navy veteran. Richard owned Zyjewski Plumbing and Heating. He worked at Nestle's and then as an electrical inspector until the age of 81. He is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth in 1983; daughter, Joy Reynolds, in 1972; grandson, Richard Zyjewski, in 2000; and son, Richard, in 2007.
He is survived by daughters, Katherine Zyjewski and Teresa (Sherman) Wagner; grandsons, Michael Waller, Daniel and Robert Zyjewski, both of FL.
Services will be Wednesday, 11:30 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Lakeside Fire Dept. or GBAC (Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps).
