Richard G. Marino, 78 of East Syracuse died Monday at home following a long illness. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 1995 following 35 years of service as a letter carrier. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Surviving two sisters, Dora and Helen Marino both of Syracuse; two sons, David M. ( Pat) of Baldwinsville and Raymond Howard of Syracuse; a daughter, Sue Haggett of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Josh and Nick Howard and Joshua, J.P. and Jackie Gallup.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services and burial will be private.
