Richard L. Exner, 62, of North Syracuse passed away Monday. Born in Mattydale, NY he was a Draftsman with National Grid. He was an Army Veteran also serving as an MP. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his pets.
Richard is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lois Ann (Bartlett), one son, Brian, two daughters Christine (Seth) Hopkins and Stacey Exner, his mother Agnes Exner, and a brother, Jim (Donna) Exner.
Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, 106 Church St., North Syracuse. Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and/or SPCA.
