Richard G Ellsworth

Richard G Ellsworth, 81, of Baldwinsville, passed away November 28, 2017. Richard was born in Ft. Covington, New York on February 16, 1936. Richard was quite the character and enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed stock car racing, SU sports, and Walt Disney World. Walt Disney said it all started with a mouse, and in his Disney crazy family it all started with Pop. Richard was preceded in death by his parent's Earl and Ethel Ellsworth, and two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley A. Ellsworth; two daughters, Kim (Jeffrey) Shova, and Karen A. Hendry; a son, Mark R. (Laurie) Ellsworth; 9 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
