Richard "Dick" L. Bonner, 83, formerly of Oswego, passed away on Sunday. He was a 1949 graduate of Fulton High School and a disabled veteran of the Korean War. Dick was a lifetime member and former commander of VFW Post 2320 in Oswego, NY, a member of the Parish American Legion Post 601 and the Florida American Veterans. Dick was a Rehabilitation Counselor and retired from Oswego Industries in 1992. He is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth "Ed" Bonner; former wife, Marjorie Winks.
He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Cole of Fulton and Lori (Christopher) Priddy of Camillus; five grand-children, Nicholas and Kelsey Cole, Caitlynn and Heather Barber and Morgan Priddy; sister in law, Beverly Bonner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
