Dick Brown, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday after a brief illness.
He was passionate about boxing, he enjoyed SU Sports and was happiest when surrounded by family. Dick was a loving and generous father and grandfather.Richard worked as a contractor and retired from self employed sales.
Surviving are his children; Sharon Felicia (Joe Reid), Audrey Barry & Richard (Denise) Brown, granddaughter, Marissa, 2 sisters; Eva Maurillo, Joan (Dale) Baldwin, along with nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday Jan. 23rd from 9-11am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a memorial service to follow.
Donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or to the Make A Wish Foundation.
