Richard D. DeGone, 76, of Baldwinsville, passed away March 25, 2024 after a 25 year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Richard was born in Watertown, New York on May 24, 1947 to Albert and Muriel DeGone.
Richard retired from Suburban Propane. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, hiking, cooking, skiing, and supporting his family. Richard was an active leader in his church, serving in the choir and youth activities. Most importantly giving glory to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Albert DeGone; Mother, Muriel Price; and Sister, Donna Bowser.
He is survived by his Wife of 54 years, Bonnie L. DeGone; Two Sons, Timothy (Christy) DeGone, Russell (Emily) DeGone; Three Daughters, Sara (Neal) Turo, Vicky (Michael) Brame, Kate (Paul) Houk; Sixteen Grandchildren; Ten Great-Grandchildren; a Nephew and several Cousins.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 4th 2024, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 5th 2024 at 11:00 am at Northside Church 7965 Oswego Road, Liverpool.
Private interment at Belle Isle Cemetery.
