Richard "Dick" Bronner, 73 of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2023 with his loving family at his side after an 11 year battle with Kidney Disease.
Richard was proud to say he served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972. He spent 35 years working at NPG and truly loved his work family that became some of his best friends. He loved his hobbies such hunting, fishing, boating, mowing the lawn, tinkering in his shed and garage and most recently trolling the neighborhood in his new "Smart Car" and planning his restoration of what his family called his "Yacht" (fishing boat). Most of all he loved to greet each day on his deck as he would look up and say "Good morning world".
Richard was thankful for each and everyday of his life and was sure to let everyone know. The biggest and most passionate love he had was his family. He was truly the most amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and "Papa" you could have asked for. His life revolved around his family and there was nothing he wouldn't be there for or do for any of them. He was the biggest cheerleader and the one phone call you could always count on. Being a "Papa" was his biggest brag and was beyond proud of his grandchildren as he was a major part of their lives in every daily aspect and milestone.
Richard is survived by his wife, Donna Bronner; his two daughters, Tisha and Nikki Bronner (Tim Case); his grandchildren, Dylan, Carly and Shane Trotman; his brothers, Bill (Bridget), Tom (Maryann) Bronner; his sisters, Kathy Sherlock (Steve) and Donna Bronner (CJ), along with an abundance of cousins, nieces and nephews that loved their "Uncle Dick".
There will be no services as Richard wanted only a gathering for all to reflect, laugh and remember the good life he lived and the good he left on all he crossed paths with.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 916, Riverside, located at 916 County Route 37, Central Square, NY 13036 on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 3-7pm.
