Richard (Dick) Guy Bristol died on April 24, 2023 in the care of his devoted and beloved son, Jeremiah.
Dick was born in Cleveland, NY on May 20, 1938 to Archie F. & Jeanette (Green) Bristol Schiffer, whom are both deceased. He is also predeceased by his long time companion, Carol Durfee; his brothers, James & Frederick; his sister, Betty Lou (Bristol) Grieco; his grandson, Andrew Bristol; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Prior to retirement, Dick was a carpenter by trade, having learned his skills from his father, Archie, and his grandfather, Guy Olson. For several years in the 70's, he owned and operated Bristol Contractors in Palermo, NY. He was also a member of the Palermo Sno-Goers Club in the mid 60's through the 70's.
Dick is survived by his siblings, Jeannie & Linda; his children, Richard J.(Grace), Brenda L. (Thomas) Dann & Jeremiah T. (Nicole) and many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private at the Maple Flats Cemetery in Cleveland, NY. Newcomer Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
