Richard Anthony, 56, of Georgetown, NY passed away Thursday at Oneida Health Care Center. Born in Syracuse he worked as a mechanic with the DPW in Syracuse for many years. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam and he was an avid hunter who loved the Adirondacks.
He is survived by his wife Theresa, daughters; Danielle Anthony and Tara (Matthew) Braun, four brothers; Michael, Kim, Charles and Mark Anthony, a sister; Frances Anthony, his grandchildren; Kayla and Sophie Purcell and Jacob Braun and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
