Richard L. Abar
June 14, 1946 — February 11, 2018
Richard L. "Rube" Abar, 71, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday.
He was born on June 14, 1946 in Syracuse, son of the late Raymond "Bud"and Margaret "Peg" Abar. Rube enjoyed fishing, golfing, & being with friends and family.
Surviving are his 3 daughters; April (Jim) Carlett, Heather (Matt) Laroche, Shannon Abar, his sister, Julie Letham, former wife Sharon Abar, 3 grandsons; Cody, Henry & Jack, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 4pm.
