Richard A. Santimaw, 60, of Liverpool, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 10, 2014. Born in Syracuse, NY on March 29, 1954, he was the son of the late Edward and Helen Boyer Santimaw. Mr. Santimaw was a graduate of Cicero High School. He worked for Deluxe Check Printing in Liverpool, NY, and for many years with Micro-Glass/MGI Electronics, both in the United States and internationally.

Richard enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a master at any home improvement project, indoors or out, and his knowledge and craftsmanship added beauty and style to his and many other homes and businesses. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, especially with the love of his life, his devoted wife, Judith, with whom he would have celebrated 20 years of marriage this coming October. He loved animals, in particular Foxy, Chewy, and Prince, and he spent many happy hours gardening and traveling. Above all else, Richard was an upbeat, generous, loving man, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by one brother, Gerald E. Santimaw.

Richard is survived by his wife, Judith A. Santimaw; son Rick Santimaw; daughter Amanda Santimaw; and one granddaughter, Sophie; siblings Edward (Jean) of North Carolina, Lorna (John) Willitts of Minoa, NY, Martin (Jacqueline) of South Carolina, and Joseph (Christine) of Brewerton, NY; a mother in law, Norma Donati McCall; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Donald M. McCall, Kathleen M. McCall, John V. (Mary) McCall and Sylvia Santimaw, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 3 to 7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7PM, at the funeral home.
