Rev. Raymond L. Lee

Rev. Raymond L. Lee, 76 passed into The Light, Thursday. He was the second son of John C. Lee Sr. of Virginia and Helen Bennett Lee Pita of Linden, NJ. Received his B.S degree from St. Peter's College where he lettered in fencing. He married Joan Dravis Lee in the summer of 1955 and was commissioned a Marine 2nd lieutenant that winter. He became a company commander in the USMC Combat Training Regiment. At the height of the cold war was a Nuclear War Head Assembly Officer in the Fleet Marine Force Atlantic Honest John Rocket Battery. Returning to civilian life, he formed Royal Chemical Inc, Royal Research Labs and Raymond Lee Tax Preparation. Twice Past Master of Sea & Field Lodge F&AM and was an ordained minister of The First Congregation of Infinite Light. He was instrumental in the founding of three Christian Spiritualist Church's.
He leaves behind his wife of 55 years The Reverend Joan D. Lee.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service, officiated by The Rev. Jeanne Moore will be September 25 at 2 p.m. Taunton Presbyterian Church, 4326 Fay Rd, Syracuse, NY.
