Regina A. Wheeler, 71, of West Monroe, went home to be with the lord on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Howard Sr.
Regina is survived by her daughter, Mary (Danny) Gardner; sons, Paul (Becky), Howard Jr. (May), Herbert (Colleen) and step-son, Gene Wheeler; brothers, Joseph and Lawrence (Mary) Fushey, Walter (Brenda) and Warren Hughes; sisters, Karen (John) Herbert and Cecelia Hughes; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
