Razia L. Gill, 79 of Clay, peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Sunday. She was a loving and virtuous wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all. Razia loved when her daughters and grandchildren could visit from Georgia and Virginia. She loved reading the bible, spending time in prayer and listening to the Word of God on WMHR.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lall Gill; a son, Norman Gill; parents, Asra and Rehmat Masih.
She is survived by four children, Noreen (Yousaf) Farhat, Noel Gill, Noeleen (Nasir) Sohtra and Naila Farooq; 10 grandchildren, Shameel, Sarah, Sunny, Natasha, Nerissa, Norma, Nick, Nicole, Neville and Neil; two siblings, Surriya Younis and Roger Alam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 11AM to 12PM at Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, 106 Church St., North Syracuse, NY 13212. Services will follow at 12 PM. Burial will take place at the North Syracuse Cemetery.
