Raymond R. Rydelek, 85, of Cicero, passed away peacefully on Wednesday at home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday 10 am at Sacred Heart Church in Cicero, NY. Burial will take place at Bridgeport Cemetery.
He was born on February 9, 1930, in Syracuse, New York to Boleslaw and Mary (Bihun) Rydelek.
He was an avid hunter, automotive and boat enthusiast. He loved wood working and he was a Navy veteran and served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Wozniak; brother, Edward and Henry Rydelek.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley(Teachout); son, Robert Rydelek; daughter, Cynthia Albro; sisters, Anna Aydlett, Julia Rose, Geraldine Rydelek; brothers, Michael (Marie), George (Barbara), John (Grace); three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, with special affection to Dr. Donald and David Rose.
Donations may be made to Hospice of CNY or Alzheimer's Association in Raymond's memory.
